Super,love everything about it.
I love this kettle and find it very easy to use. I am a little worried that i will break the glass jug part at some point, but it’s worth the risk.
VisiCook WKG 67R PowerBoil Glass kettle, 1.4 Litre, Red
- Power Boil gives you 3000W at 240V for fast boil performance time after time
- BPA free glass bowl
- Lift-off lid aids cleaning, and it’s so easy to see that it’s clean, too
- 360 degree base for your convenience
- Nothing else looks like it, it’s a style statement
This is a smart little number – looks good and would recommend.
It does wobble a bit on it’s base and is a little noisy-but that’s not a big deal.
Ordered it on tuesday and it arrived the next day. I’ve had other glass kettles over the years and this is the best one yet. Love the easy removable lid, fast boil and just everything about this item.
VisiCook WKG 67R PowerBoil Glass kettle, 1.4 Litre, Red :
I bought this kettle around 2 weeks ago and so far im happy with it. Red plastic parts seems to be cheaply made but in fact the are attached nice and solid. I didnt check before buying properly and was expecting plastic free kettle (parts that have contact with water) and actually the lid is made of plastic. No idea if its bpa free or not. Without plastic bit i would give it 5stars. Good thing is that you can actually remove the plastic lid before pouring the water etc so i can live with it. I found out that if you fill up only half of the glass jug then boiling water won’t touch the plastic lid. The base is made in china and rest of plastic parts are probably too. It says that the glass part is from germany. Overall kettle is ok and boils the water really quick.
Love this kettle but unfortunately i live in a very hard water area and need filtered water in it otherwise it scales up very quickly. It does mean i am drinking less limescale though which is a good thing.
My old kettle broke and i fancied something a tad different so i chose this, it’s looks are beautiful, it boils really quickly and with it been glass it easy to gauge the correct amount of water to use, easy to clean. My only niggle is you have take the lid off to fill it.
This is the best kettle we have ever had. Good points: does not take too long to boil. Looks lovely in our kitchen. Glass is eco friendly and safe.
Very happy, definitely i will bay again.
Looks good, like the idea of a detachable lid. Hope it lasts as long as the one it has replaced which was the same type, but the lid disintegrated after 18 yearswell we’ve had this kettle a short while now and after using it regularly, it seems it leaks water when pouring and the blue light doesn’t come on most times, it seems temperamental. Therefore, i have downgraded my stars from 5 to 3.
Can only be half filled otherwise when water is boiling, it all spurts out. Alsobthe cord can only be very short or all out, nothing in between.
A very stylish and modern kettle. It is a bit rounded but you get loads in and nice to see water bubbling away. Can seem noisy by some but you soon detract from sound of kettle once you busy away with other things. Taking lid off completely and replacing takes time to get used to if you’re used to kettles with lid attached. I really like it as it looks completely different to what is mass produced on the market. Delivery was impeccably perfect.
This is my third visicook kettle, they are just beautiful, other kettles last me a few months, these last for years if you look after them, definitely worth the money.
The lid is a bit of a faff , but easy to adapt to.
And more to the point quiet when boiling.
Looks nice but lid may be a bit too much to keep taking off to fill up.
Would buy again if required.
Looks amazing love watching it bubble and it’s quick. Very happy but don’t keep a gold fish in it.
Having read many reviews and been extremely disappointed by what appears to be an obvious lack of quality (and no clear response by most manufacturers) to previous feedback from obviously disappointed customers. I bought first one then another arendo kettle. Which to put it mildly were cheap (errrmmm. And had to be returned for refunds. So, desperate to find a decent kettle. I opted to try team visicook. I have not been disappointed. And i’m extremely pleased and very happy. Visicook kettle is quality you can trust (ie not made in china)it has a very fast boil. But, a kitchen is not a library or a quiet train carriage . And what else for a fast efficient boil. Kids, washing machine and radio make more noise. I didn’t measure time and compare it to previous kettles (how sad are some people. With nothing left to do in their little lives?)and no. It doesn’t have a spout filter mesh (plastic / metal or anything else). If you want to filter the water. Get a separate water filter and pour from that into the kettle.
It is a great looking kettle and it is really quite clever to see the water you’re boiling. Makes you far more aware of how much you’re wasting if boiling just for a single cuppa. If i were to pick fault with it, it is that it is white i would have preferred a black one. And also that the lid doesn’t just flip up for filling. You have to know how to release it and also to put the spout-side in first before aligning the back. Fiddly, and definitely not the cleverest design. I live in a very hard water area and found that it furred up very quickly (no more quickly than my old one- but you could see it happening). I have started filtering the water before i put it in the kettle.Since then- no limescale at all any more.
