A traditional brown teapot that will hold around 3. It’s a good price and bizarrely they appear to be cheaper than 4 cup pots. I’ve not had any issues with dripping and my only gripe is the lid, which doesn’t fit that snugly. My old pot had a straight rim with a straight edge inside the lid. With this one there’s only the hook, which you have to remember to face towards the spout to keep it in place.
Good value for money, arrived promptly.
Lovely rustic teapot and pours really well. Thought it might dribble, but it’s perfect.
- Traditional teapot
- Sadly doesn’t pour as well as my other one –
- Wonderful Teapot
Sadly doesn’t pour as well as my other one – need to hold it over the sink or pour very slowly.
One very small niggle- when the liquid level gets low tea bags go up spout, may have to buy a smaller one for fewer cups.
This teapot is ok but you would never get six cups out of it .
Very sturdy and a lovely colour.
Bought as a replacement for a broken ‘ brown betty ‘, and very good.
I think mine must be a friday teapot. Not only is it definitely brown, not even remotely black, but it also dribbles tea all over the place when i pour.
Haven’t tried it out yet but was a present, was looking for a black teapot and instead it was 60s brown colour.
Love this pot : purchased it to make green tea in it. ]
Brilliant, exactly as described.
Wish i’d bought next size up.
Bought with a teal coloured teapot and both packed well with quick delivery. Great price as really good quality. Holds 4 mugs which is what we wanted and makes a good mug of tea too.
Good for the price, spout dribbles.
Beautifully made teapot although at 6 cups, a little larger than i wanted. I now own 2 and 6 cup teapots. When will price and kensington produve a 4 cup pot to complete the range?.
Very pleased xxx bought for a friend ,as she always uses a tea pot , for her 80th i have crochet her a tea cosy and fits perfect xxx.
Its solid, warm the pot and get a good cup of tea .
Traditional brown teapot, pours well but you need to hold the lid on when getting the last of the tea.
Otherwise makes a great cuppa :).
Generally ok but does not pour very well.
The pot is a good replacement for our old brown one, but it does not have a strainer at the bottom of the spout on the inside like our old one. This results in the tea (we use loose leaves) rushing out of the spout and care has to be taken to not overshoot the tea strainer on the cup.
