Price & Kensington Brights Blue 10Cup Teapot – Great idea for tea gatherings

Would recommend this product to others.

Lovely large size teapot that is put to good use at my marie curie cancer care coffee morning. Definitely a 5 star product.

This arrived very quickly and its fantastic. We are thrilled with the product for the price. Here are the specifications for the Price & Kensington Brights Blue 10Cup Teapot:

  • 1500ml capacity
  • Durable Stoneware
  • Microwave Safe
  • Dishwasher Safe
  • 10 Cups

While being an absolutly lovely teapot, it does not hold ten cups. When i got it i measured it, and found that even if you take the typical measurment of 200 ml as one cup this only holds about 1200 ml. Strangly the same as the 6 cup. Would recommend purchasing the london potterty 10 cup globe one if you want a real 10 cupper.

Its a better size than the last teapot i ordered. Its a really nice teapot and now both myself and my husband can have 2 mugs of tea each.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Good size, but drips when pouring.
  • definitely a 6 cup teapot – but nicely made, and it pours nicely
  • It’s good value.

Super tea pot and a good size without being too heavy to lift.

Arrived on time with no breakage, will be a great gift for my mum.

Good value, needs a tea cosy though and you must remember to preheat teapot with hot water to get best results.

Love the colour of this tea pot – however i was a bit disappointed with the size of it. Was expecting it to be bigger, even though i had read the description before buying. Good family size tea pot, but no way you get 10 cups of tea from it.

Lovely cover, came well packed so hadn’t broke on way. Makes 10 small cups, not mugs, but this was satisfactory.

Teapot is of good quality for the price and a lovely colour but no way does it hold 10 cups of tea. Having said that it doesn’t spill out when poured like a lot of pots so i’m happy with it.

Nice size holds around 8 cups.

Lovely colour teapot, slightly smaller than expected.

Yeh, not 10 cup, definitely a 6 cup teapot – but nicely made, and it pours nicely.

Bought for a group of people , everyone thrilled with the purchase.

Great colour, good size (use 5 teabags) but unfortunately drips when pouring more times than not. Ok of you place a sheet of kitchen roll on the tray first.

I bought this for our church as their teapot wasn’t big enough. I really liked the design and the colour wasn’t glaring. Great quality and still going strong even after a year. I just need to educate the staff to get the tea stains off the inside.

Nice coloured pot large enough for the family and friends to have a lovely cuppa nice one many thanks amazon.

I use it and i am happy with it but i do wish manufacturers would base their ‘cups’ on to-day’s larger cups and not on the tiny bone china one’s of my grandmother’s time.

Bought these for an afternoon tea baby shower – they were very classy.

I needed a large teapot so i thought this would fit the bill. You can get more than the stated 1500ml in it. It has a nice finish, the lid doesn’t fall off when you pour, it doesn’t drip and the teabags don’t seem to block the flow – with my last teapot i had to take the bags out as they would often completely block the flow. When full though it is heavy, as you would suspect. It’s a wonder the handle can handle it :).

A good sized teapot, if you enjoy 4/5 cups in the morning.
