Was a bit dubious about the video reviews not being that reliable, but it seems that this is a good grinder for the purpose. The reason i gave it 3 stars is because it is a bit rackity (if that does it justice) in the sense that the burrs are not completely aligned and do rub together slightly – leading me to think i will i have to purchase another grinder in the near future. But i’ve used it today (the day i got it) and it does grind my fresh coffee perfectly for both drip and stove top coffee makers. It is great for the price and does the same job as a grinder 5x more expensive. Be warned, you may be having to purchase another sooner than you expect due to the build quality of this, but it is fit for purpose nonetheless.
Good product for the price, my first grinder. May go for an electric one in future but if you are thinking about an entry level grinder to try grinding beans to make fresh coffee then this seems a great option.
I haven’t used a coffee grinder before, but this was easy to use (for a hand-crank), and produced great results. Pro’s- feels high quality (sturdy but lightweight)- attractive design- works perfectly- window to see how much has been ground so far- simple adjustment of grind size for different uses (i first tried it very fine, and that made for very strong coffee, so i adjusted accordingly)- easy to use/ cleancon’s- takes a while if you want a very fine grind, but not too long for a french press/ drip coffee machine)** i hope my review was helpful, but feel free to ask a question about the item and i’ll try to help further.

“Works well but feels flimsy, Superb Manual Coffee Grinder, Nice little coffee grinder.”
Spring mechanism failed after a months useupdateafter being provided with a replacement i can confidently say after a few months use with grinding coffee every day, 2 times a day it is functioning perfectly and i have experienced no further issues.
It really grinds and is easy to setup the size of it. The difficult part is to have strength enough to use it and grinds enough for a mug of coffee.
Works well but feels a bit cheap, so not sure how long it will last.
i love coffee in every guise and this includes grinding coffee beans. I have an electric grinder, which works great, but was intrigued and curious to see what a manual grinder would be like to operate. I especially love an espresso, cappuccino, and coffee from places such as yemen, uae and turkey. This machine allows me to press beans from these regions to my own exacting requirements. The grinder looks striking and prestigious in a stainless steel design and is robust and sturdy thanks to a steel construction. The machine has no battery or wires, so is 100 % manually operated. It’s compact size ensures that it is portable, doesn’t take up much space, stores in a limited space and is ready to use at any time. I keep mine at home and will purchase another one for my office. I want to be able to drink my type of coffee at work and avoid ghastly vending machine coffee. It’s intuitive to put the grinder together, and it is pretty much ready to use immediately.
One minor quibble is that it’s quite hard to adjust the grind to the right size using the screw-based system, so that costs it a star, but it does grind consistently and for the price i would still recommend it. And of course it’s infinitely better than one of those electric grinders that ruin the taste and aroma of the beans by being too powerful and producing friction heat. There’s also something satisfying about grinding your beans by hand.
