For its price, very good value. The whistle is rather weak but the rest of it is – a kettle.
Small kettle ideal for camping trips. To be honest you don’t want a huge kettle otherwise you’d use all your gas for one brew. Whistles when ready, just like the good old days. Be careful with it though – they are a bit on the thin side and are easily dented. A basic kettle not costing the earth.
The kettle is small and compact which is what we wanted although the only problem is that the plastic part which makes it whistle keeps falling off into the boiling water.

Compact, good capacity, whistles. Does what you want you would expect a hob top kettle to do, at a very reasonable price.
Its a good little blue kettle. It boils up nice and quick – build qaulity seems fine, have only used it on a stove so far, and its very blue.
Just what i was looking for but the whistle isn’t very loud but all in all it works that’s the main thing.
The 2 litre blue whistling kettle is a good buy, good product and good response time, a very good product.
It does what it needs to do, boil water. However, this is now my 2nd kettle and just like the last, the whistle has broken within 2 uses. Oh well, just have to keep an eye on it when boiling.
It looks small but hold alot more than you think. I also think i may have hurt the whistle because some hot water got into it. We will see on the next trip if it dries out.
Great delivery hold more than enough water boils quickly and has a nice whistle to it nice colour as well.
Although not campers this kettle bought to go with camping gas stove for use during power cuts. Looks good, awaiting power cut.
It’s a whistling kettle – ideal.
Bought this kettle for a weekend camping trip thinking if it lasts the weekend great as it didn’t cost much, but for the money it is absolutely brilliant value. Very sturdy and good quality, the whistle lid is good as you don’t have to constantly keep an eye on it. Boiled quickly and would recommend definitely.
I great little kettle which helps me make tea and coffee for our dry stone walling trainees down in dorset. Tested in the field in all conditions and still going strong.
It boils water and it whistles when it’s ready. It feels sturdy enough and it’s quite small and ideal for camping holidays. I don’t think there’s a lot more you can say about a kettle really.
I have yet to use this product but by the way it looks and feels it is top notch.
When have you wanted a cupa and you haven’t got electric.
As i live in a small village & we often get power cuts bought this for standby to use on the gas. Let’s hope it’s hardly used.
Did the job i needed it to do,but the lid was a bit flimsy and soon broke hence no whistling.
This is a very good little camping kettle. Cheap and cheerful but good enough for camping. Very thin base so doesn’t take hours to boil, but not fast by any means, faster than most though. Handle stays cool and the flip spout cover has a lever so you don’t burn your fingers. Pours well enough and fills ok (if you use a jug as those water carriers are not the best at pouring)my whistle fell out on the first day otherwise would have given it 5*’s but what does it matter, it doesn’t interfere with its performance (you should never leave the stove unattended anyway so you don’t need alerting when it boils)ok for the price and if it breaks it doesn’t cost a fortune to replace. They make this in red and green too i have the red one as i liked the colour.
Purchased to go with my emergency camping stove in case of power cute, light weight but quick to boil and ideal sixe for camping stove.
Arrived covered in dust and with patches of what looked like mould on it. . Clearly this was the one that had been languishing at the back of the store room waiting for an unsuspecting customer. . A relief as it was needed the next day for a camping trip, otherwise it would have been sent back. Hopefully we were just unlucky and got the ‘runt of the litter’ and it performs better than it looked.
