London teapot company chatsfor 6 cup teapot with filter. This is just what we wanted for making coffee. After a long search and finding only disappponting or unafordable products this does just what we want. Better insulated than a glass cafetiere with the two advantages of being able to seperate when desired the grounds from the liquid and much easier disposal of the grounds into the compost pot. Very good quality and loively mid blue colour.
Tea strainer built in feature is very handy.
I bought this as a replacement for my similar teapot (also a chatsford blue), which had suffered from many years daily use. The new one is a dull blue , not as represented in the image. Although it is okay, next time [ which may not be far-off i will be more discerning in my purchase. Hello, have looked again, and it does have a steam ventilation in the lid. The handle is as in the picture, my original had a shaped handle with a better grip. This tends to slide through the hand as i pour from it. The cleaning of the pot itself is as easy as you would expect, but the lid has no ventilation so after washing there is always a residue inside the lid, a small bur significant irritation. To conclude, as someone who enjoys a pot of tea daily, this is only okay. ]

“Dull ,workman like product, would not buy again
, tea for two
Pours without dripping, filter is easy to clean. I’ve only had it for a few weeks, so not sure how robust the plastic filter is or how easy to get replacements.
This was to replace a similar pot which was chipped. It’s a good design and pours properly. Can’t beat leaf tea in a pot.
Really economic in use of tea leaves and easy to clean. I have had several now but would not recommend putting them in the dishwasher as it tends to crack the glaze.
Bought this because the reviews said it poured well, and it certainly does. Bear in mind though, that 6-cup is about 3 large mugs or 4 ordinary ones.
We have had ours for may years (we are on our 3rd tea insert) and it has had surface cracks for many of those years. It is now starting to develop more serious cracks so we have just purchased a replacement.
I have only used it once but it seems to be easy enough to clean.
This is a lovely teapot with an internal fine strainer for loose tea. It looks like a real teapot and pours beautifully. The strainer fits perfectly inside the teapot and is deep enough for you to half fill the pot and still use it. Loose tea has a wonderful taste, so much nicer than teabags and this allows you to have it with no mess. The strainer taps out nicely into the compost bucket and is extremely easy to clean. The seller is excellent too – the product is well-packed and arrives very quickly.
I love the colour, good size and ease of use, does not dribble. Very practical, easy to clean.
I’ve had at least 4 of these because (due to our own carelessness) each one has got broken. Each time i look around for another teapot and end up buying an exact replacement. It looks good and works brilliantly for making proper leaf tea.
This product is very beautiful and is of really good quality. I did not expect it to be of such good quality. It is fairly large so lots of tea can be stored.
It’s a very good teapot on it’s own. The plastic insert carries loose tea very effectively and can be rinsed through. All of it withstands the dishwasher. It’s a good shape and substantial in both size and construction.
Excellent tea pot, good quality, very stable and balanced in the hand. The filter is great, it allows full fusion without any tea particles seeping out.
I bought this as a replacement for an identical model that i had used for several years. It is very good, makes an excellent cup tea.
A good old fashioned tea pot we love it.
This is a great teapot that pours well as long as you don’t try and do it too fast. The strainer is easy to remove so the tea doesn’t stew and it’s easy to dispose of the leaves too. One thing that i see others have commented on too is that it isn’t really a 6-cup pot – they must mean the tiniest cups. We use largish (>half pint) mugs, and i reckon that if filled to the very top it would do for 3 of those. So if you use large mugs and were thinking of getting the 4-cup version – get this instead.
I chose this because already had a spare blue lid and its quite difficult to source replacement lids if you break one.
The nylon diffuser means that you don’t get any tea leaves in your brew.
These are excellent tea pots for those of us who appreciate the taste of real ‘loose’ tea. The removable tea holder/sieve prevents any tea leaves getting into the cup and saves having to use a separate tea sieve. The pot is a lovely china tea pot that pours well.
Pours well, no drips and like the removable strainer. Please make one in red as that would be perfect.
I’ve had this teapot for a while now, it’s been a good size for when groups of friends pop over. It rather comfortably supplies four/five cups of tea at a time, and is easy to clean out afterwards. It also looks good on the shelf, which is always a bonus.
A technical complaint, when the tea pot was filled to the brim, the ‘spout’ ‘leaks’, cure make the ‘spout’ anothrer 2cm higher.
