Cuisinart Grind and Brew Automatic Coffee Machine, Perfect coffee maker

Been using it now for over 6 months, and i absolutely love this machine. The coffee is always perfect, and since i got this machine, i find almost impossible to drink any other home mad coffee, weather is instant, or pot coffee, none of them can come close to a freshly made coffee from this machine.

Marvellous coffee maker and very easy to use. Even the grinder was a star.

Wanted one of these as had used one in a holiday home last year and been impressed. Washing up is a bit of a bind though, but fiddly.

Just be aware the new ones now only keep hot for 35 mins instead of 4 hours. I spoke to to cuisinart and apparently new ledgeslation won’t let them keep hot for any longer than 35 mins.

I have had such a difficult time finding a decent coffee maker that will go through the dishwasher. The design is brilliant and the grinder is wonderful and it makes lovely coffee. I absolutely love this coffee maker and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Bought this to replace the same model. Grinder motor broke on that one but still does ground filter coffee. I do think this is the best grind and brew on the market (still). It’s easy to use, can use beans or ground coffee, it’s easy to clean and no messing about with beans stuck in hoppers (like with the more expensive models). I had to drop a star this time around because the old model used to let the warming plate stay on for 2 hours whereas this one only allows 35 minutes. Not a deal breaker as coffee stays hot enough for a good hour if you warm the pot first but if you like to take your time sipping coffee on a sunday morning then i occasionally have to resort to the microwave after an hour. Maybe i’ll switch out the controller board from the old version, then it will be back to being perfect :-).

Makes great coffee, easy to use and easy to clean.

Good deliverybought to replace a similar product we got from aldi. This was slightly more expensive even as a amazon warehouse deal, but it is much better quality than old one. Works well, we only fill up to 10 cups mark as coffee bit weak otherwisethis is not a proper coffee maker hence only £80 not £300 as long as you know that you will not be disappointedalso handy that you can set up the night before and then put on timer for the morning so waking up to the smell.

An affordable grind and brew coffee machine, not too noisy. Our previous one used to deafen us. This cuisinart looks very nice as well as making a very decent cup of coffee. We could not afford to pay several hundred pounds for one and why should you when this more than does the job and with a decent guarantee so you can’t go wrong.

We bought this product and used it for a month, had to re-sell aftewrards at a loss. The problem we had is that hte amount of water and coffee ground are not linked (i. You can pour 8 cups of water and 1 spoon of coffee, or vice-versa). Our previous coffee machine had the option to select how many cups of coffee you want to prepare (i. If you select 8 cups, it filter 8 cups of water and grind 8 cups of coffee. What this means is that everyday coffee tastes different, some days you end up with strong coffee, some days with watery coffee. In the morning rush, having to check the amount of water and adjusting the quantity of coffee beans in the deposit manually is quite a hassle.

This is a great machine , well built , quiet ,easy to clean and makes a perfect cup of coffee. Got the right ‘formula’ for our taste by trial and error. But for my taste , which is a medium brew i suggest this: using the scoop supplied, and for 3 mugs of coffee- 6 level scoops of beans and fill the machine to the 6 cup mark. This seems to produce a consistent medium strength brew. Of course tastes differ, vary this to suit yourselves. And remember to swirl the coffee around in the carafe a few times when brewing is finished before serving as the water coffee mix separates some what.

Love this machine, does everything i need it to.

  3. 1.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant idea - dishwater coffee

This review is from : Cuisinart Grind and Brew Automatic Coffee Machine

I was so excited when i ordered this coffee maker, because i thought it was a brilliant idea: my favourite beans, freshly ground and freshly brewed with filtered water, all in one machine. I wasn’t too worried about having to clean all the bits after every use. Most of the reviews rave about the quality of the coffee it makes, so i figured a bit of faffing was worth it. Well, the truth is all it makes is brown dishwater, which, if you happen to like dishwater, is fine. I like a proper coffee, though. I got up to 3 spoons of beans per cup, and it still tasted awful. The other strange thing was that for some reason it made my lovely chocolatey, velvetty beans taste bitter. So, regrettably, off it will have to go.
