Having owned several cheaper imitations in the past and been unimpressed, this is the business. Froths up drinks nicely, which is a good way to get the kids to drink milk(shakes). Haven’t tried it in coffee yet, but i haven’t felt the need. The only slight downside is that the frother itself doesn’t unplug from the body (at least it doesn’t seem to) for washing, so it has to be rinsed under the tap each time it’s used (no bad thing either).
Makes great frotty milk, i love it, but i’m on my 3rd one in 2 years. I do use it everyday though, but expected the motor would last a bit longer. I just ordered the stainless steel one in the hope it will last longer, the plastic ones are made cheaply.
Works perfectly as described.
Easy to use – stylish and practical – saves time and makes coffee even better. Would never be without one in the house.
- Kids love it for milkshakes.

It does precisely what it’s supposed to do — produce good frothed milk. Trouble is, it only works properly when the batteries are nearly full, and this will be for at most 20 whisks. So if you use it twice a day, you’ll have to replace the batteries every 10 days. (however, don’t let this persuade you to buy the same company’s plug-in milk heater and frother: that is a dead loss. You’ll have more milk all over your kitchen surface than in your cup.
This is brilliant little gadget – makes great frothy milk and it doesn’t leave you with loads of washing up afterwards.
The first aerolatte satin i bought lasted 9 years lets hope this one is as good.
Whips milk for my coffee and even mixes my salad dressings very well instead of a regular whip.
Had my original aerolatte for over 8 years and nothing compares to this – wonderful.
Getting milk to correct temperature is key to success. Effectiveness drops off as battery power falls. Easy to clean under running tap.
This device is extremely effective at frothing milk for coffee and bedtime drinks; and it gets regular use in our household. So i bought one for my brother only to find that what i thought were one-off problems with mine were just the same with his. Both the battery cover and the on-off switch did not make reliable contact and so sometimes it would not switch on and sometimes not switch off. By bending the battery terminals in the battery cover and by frequent use of the switch, the level of reliability has improved but it is an irritating aspect of what otherwise is a very neat piece of kit which it is a pleasure to use.
This little gaget makes great froth for capuccinos. I bought a proper capuccino coffee machine at well over £100 but did not get the froth like this also it would take ages to get to the heat required. If you want decent froth in 20secs get this. Needless to sayi have ditched my coffee machine.
I’m so satisfied with this product. It can make the frothered milk for latte so quick and easily.
I was really hesitant about buying as i thought it was just a gimmick. My first few tries when it arrived failed and was very dissapointed but then realised you have to get the milk to the perfect temperature by experimenting with your own microwave. Its even better heating the milk on the pan and using a thermometer because then you can measure that it is the perfect temperature to froth. I’ve bought some flavoured syrups from starbucks and hoepfully wont be buying any more of their over-priced coffees now i can make my own.
Bought as a present so no personal review although recipient had selected this item on a wish list , no adverse comment from recipient so assume pleased with it.
First introduced to this product when in france and i`m not disappointed now that i have one myself. Yes the battery contact is not always perfect and yes it uses battery power quite quickly but it is a great little item and makes a luxury out of an ordinary cuppa.
Seems better than the old one we had, great for scrambling eggs/mixing omelettes. Would have been nice to have a case for it like the old one had.
Have used these for years, one of the simplest ways to froth your coffee but it does need good batteries.
Just as described, works well & a lot more durable than others i have had so far but early days.
Ive had a few coffee machines to make lattes, cappachinos etc but none seem to hit the mark. Mostly its just little old me and its hardly worth the faff of a machine to make the froth, i tried those capsule ones and quite frankly the milky part sucksthis is great, i just heat the milk in the microwave whilst the kettle boils, then whisk away. However word of warning the milk can get hot and splashmy son has a hot chocolate when he gets in from school and now has requested a milkshake which at 8yrs he can make himself as there are no dangerous parts to it.
I’ve had my aerolatte for years now and it is still going strong. I mainly use it for mixing hot chocolate but it obviously works wonders with milk and is superb for angel delight type desserts. Most kitchen gadgets i’ve bought have ended up in a cupboard, usually because of the time it takes to clean them or because the novelty wears off, but the aerolatte is a permanent fixture in my kitchen.
Whisks the milk up well and helps make a superior latte or hot chocolate. If it proves to be reasonably long lasting it’s an excellent help for the coffee loversamong us and is an awful lot cheaper than a good machine with frother attached. Teamed with an aeropress it gives me an excellent cuppa that pleases the palate.
